Below is a screenshot of the Weather Underground WunderMap display at 5:00 pm during a weather event on June 20, 2021. The display is especially informative as it provides the current precipitation measurement for the day at each of the registered weather stations. We don’t currently have a way of making this display available “live” on our site, but you can get to this display at the link below. Note that you will have to click “precipitation” in the menu on the right hand side to switch from the default temperature display to view rainfall.
And here’s a screen shot from 3/6/24 – A very intense but brief morning shower. An image like this helps us to check up on the various weather stations status. A zero or 0.2 reading is an indication that these two stations aren’t recording precipitation.
